It's the keyless entry kit I want to get for my e30! Has anyone gotten this one and is it any good? I do find it weird that it only has an "unlock" button on it but, ey, what can you do
Any comments on these?

The main problem I can see with all of these kits is that they only operate the locks, not the deadlocks which still makes the car a lot more vulnerable. So although it would be nice, 9 times out of 10 I'd probably still want to use the physical key.

I'm not sure I get what your saying, what is deadlock and why would I want to unlock manually if I had one of these xDharry_p wrote:The main problem I can see with all of these kits is that they only operate the locks, not the deadlocks which still makes the car a lot more vulnerable. The deadlock means a scrote can't smash the window or bend the door frame and pull the lock button up.
All e30s have deadlocks as standard, turn the key past the 45 degree lock position all the way to horizontal an you should hear a secon locking action.
Only works from the drivers door though.
