its a rubbish 6 though, its passable but not great, fuel consumption will vastly outweigh any performance.
on the plus side it is supra derived so a 2jz swap shouldn't be too much drama.
havent got the foggyest how the chassis would cope with that though.

If I remember rightly we used crown comforts in Hong Kong as taxis... I don't remember them being that plush though! Maybe they cheapened it a bit in the 90s!

It's pretty nasty.
The one to have is the S60/70 (4th gen) Crown - the Coupes are stunning.

Failing that, a Datsun 200-280C (Cedric/Gloria) from the 1971 - 79 Era would do. The 230 Series is my fave, especially the metallic dark green on here with a white vinyl roof.
