Im sure it all started off at a TBMW shoot or something like that, where Steve, Lizzie, M3gtr, STE and Duncan decided to create a website which gave lots of information about E30s and the idea developed into a Forum!
None of those people remain on the zone today. (maybe STE with his webdesign skills?)

I thought it was originally just the 3-series section of another BMW forum? & the E30s were taking over so Steve etc started what's now known as the "old zone"...
That's just before it moved to this format - if you wondered what people were going on about with the old one!

theres only Ant and Jonb still here.I think ste and steve are but not to sure.That was an amazing read though,like watching the birth of the zone !

Ste is still about, in fact his company designed the shop setup for the site, nice job too mighgt I say

the bmwcarforum, was bollocks then(still is), and was starting to be a lonely place if you had an e30.
