Meathead knuckledraggers...probably
Most trackdays would have seen them black flagged on lap 2 or 3 for driving like tools

they both belong to AG Motorsport, Andy Gallagher in the car at the rear (camera car) is a skilled track & rally driver, he enters his own fully carbon fibered ST Focus in to the UK Time Attack races, pretty sure he held the fastest lap time round Knockhill for a while to.
plenty clip's of him on you tube:

Entirely agree that they probably would have got black flagged elsewhere, but I don't think you can say they aren't skilled.
If you ask me, it takes some serious skill (& guts) to throw a cossie around a track like that.
Man I would love a sierra cossie....

the car in front strikes me ass more reckless than skilled and that is not a safe display of driving for an open track session with much slower cars on track.

That vid is 3 to 4 years old judging by the logo on the bridge and was the kind of driving which gave knockhill a bad rep and stopped a lot of people coming. Thankfully all the independent track days are run as elsewhere and KH have improved the standards of there own hothatch days since that vid and taking to grass on the exit of the the hair pin is not a skillfull way to drive

Definitely. The lead car would be canned in no time flat on the trackdays I attend.billgatese30 wrote:I'd agree with that.Jon_Bmw wrote:Skilled...debateable.

That front Cossie looked like a right handfull. Either that or the driver was being a bit slack. Camera car was driven a lot better!
They were obviously driving in a controlled environment, didn't look to be anyone else around to cause trouble for! But my god, I wish I could have one of those Cossies instead of letting them to wreck them!

I can't be bothered to watch it again, but I seem to remember an XR2 (mk1 possibly) getting rather closer to the 'action' than would have been preferable.andrew_baran wrote: They were obviously driving in a controlled environment, didn't look to be anyone else around to cause trouble for!
It just looks unacceptable from my view point. If they have paid 15G to hire out Knockhill for the day, fine. If not, fuck off.
If you want to put skilled driver, ford and cosworth in the same sentence, look no further than my best mate Terry Davies. Yes the 4 door looks shit, because it is, but is sorted mechanically and showed up all the jap boys in the BDC. He finished fourth in the pro class in his debut season...

Oh and here's his other MkII which also runs a YB - if you want to appreciate just how quick this is, google what it takes a veyron to do the 1/4 mile
