Not picked it up yet but should be with me by the end of the week or earlier next week.

Well, its a 318i Cab Design in Neon Blue, same as MurphyE30 but with grey leather and 89k on the clock. It is a Cat C, so will need to get a VIC test once i get it MOT'd and taxed. Here's some pics:

Its had side damage as you can see in the pics, but i think im going to need a few parts in addition to the wing, door, bumper and lights. As the bumpers look like they're goosed, i might get the Mtec 2 kit and prep that rather than put standard ones on. I'll put Gmax suspension on and will look at the wheel situation once the car is ready for the road.

Will get some more pics when i get car.

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Looks like it was a clean example before its altercation! Nice colour though, get a new wing and door on and it will improve it greatly. Quarter panel and paint is the only real work. Interior will come good too. Good luck!

Cheers, dont think i will get a door and wing in the same colour, lol, but yeah, wing and door will make a big difference. I know someone who can pull the rear quarter out so hopefully will make a nice car once done.

dont pay too much attention to the doubters, if the cars solid its well saveable and even a little rust shouldnt see you give up on it. I bought a sport in a lot worse condition than that and turned it into one of the best around. Shouldnt have sold it

Looks to be just panel damage and as long as the rear quarter is repaired properly will make a nice car. interior looks well and im a fan of this colour too. Top marks for sticking your neck out on this one. :thumb:

My friend told me that Copart have another section called upullit which for people to come and get parts so it looks like they've been in this one.

Went to Birmingham to meet Abid and BMWmad for the Tech 2 and a few other bits

Image

I've decided to keep the red cab that i bought to use for bits and break it. I managed to pull the wing and the door off and put the replacement wing on:

Yeah, thats what my main worry was. I was going to get the MOT and the VIC done and see what a panel beater says.
MurphyE30 wrote:good luck with this mate will be great to see it saved :D

Yeah, hopefully will be able to get it back to a good standard. Im going to chop the rear quarter off the red one and weld a new arch and sill to it and see if i need it or if i can repair the original panel that would be great.

LOL, i think a few people on here was.

Not massively in need of scrapping but it needs some work. Need to get it MOT'd and VIC tested.
