I've got some new plates and would like to know the measurements for drilling the holes.

My cars a facelift and want them to look good.

hello m8!! here if u want a tip put 2 of these on ur car dude u get the euro look and ur number plates dont get damaged as much!!

hi there m8 nps cool yeh my uncle auntie and cousins live out there lol my uncles german!! so all good but them for 30 quid are fairly cheap having said that uve got me thinking now lol as i know u could prob get them from a dealers in germany as all cars come with em there"!" :wink:

I normally use heavy duty numberplate sticky pads to save drilling the plates although my bro used Tiger Seal (the stuff used for sticking on bodykits) on his last time!

Take the old plates off, then measure the distance between the 2 holes. Then measure the drop, I placed my front plate just a touch under the black plastic. Once you've got the measurement get the drill out!!
Always drill through from the back of the plate to prevent the backing coming away from the front, that's what causes the ugly grey rings around the screw holes, and use a block of wood to dril against to prevent the plate from splitting.
Do the same at the rear!!

Why driil any holes?? - use number plate stickers - that's what there for

And if u want a few blobs of silicone

Cheers mate, my existing plate on the back is lop sided, just wondered if anyone had the dimensions as it's raining and I can't be arsed to check... :lol:
