Just a quick one guys/gals, I have been told that you can get a vauxhall Mk3 Cavalier 2.0 8v induction kit and it will fit the iS as they use the same air flow meter is this true??

any help would be great thanks!

The only induction kit that will do anything for an iS is the BMC or ITG. Everything else will most likley lose you torque. Reason for this is because none of the aftermarket induction kits have internal trumpets.

Buy a big bore throttle body instead for Ԛ£120 and youll actuallyu gain something.

I wouldn't bother with either TBH.

As it happens I have just been for a test drive in a 2.0 8v cavalier and, being the total geek I am, happened to notice the AFM is the same part as found on the iS (with a different connector though). So I assume if you want you can use a Cav induction kit, but like M5pilot says I think there's better places to put your money.

BMW and Vauxhalls from the late 80's and early 90's share a lot of Bosch parts. The fault computer thing in the E30s has identical funciton to the fault computer in the MK2 Astra GTE.
