Started it up at home today after lots of messing around with fueling and the neighbors coming out to see who was firing the gun!
Saving up now the get it on the rollers to be mapped. Its all done apart from the mapping.
Im thinking about a uprated fuel pump before the rollers as well. I can see the original one struggling a little.

Unfortunately I don't think it will be ready for the meet. The car has only ran for a matter of hours and I'd like to get it 100% reliable before I go anywhere.
The down pipe is 2.5 inch and looks tiny compeard to the size of the turbo.

Hope you plan on a larger downpipe then "2.5 , it´ll be restricting flow, spool and power at whatever boost you run it at.

Im not happy with the hole manifold / exhaust system but it will do for now on standard internals and its better than a few i have seen.
But the down pipe is very free flowing for a 2.5" so lets see how it goes.

E34 one's are cheaper but I got the E28 combo so more expensive. Clutch price is 1/5 of what I paid for the whole lot
Guess it's got to be done though
What kind of price you paying for the mapping if you don't mind me asking?

Imy why dont you get the fly and clutch refaced and get a good/new 240mm pressure plate
It would greive me to pay £300 for a clutch
Anyway OT, Nice work Matt what power are you aiming for ?

Not yet, the car has come back to have the rear brakes fixed. I has been standing for over a year! No probs but just puts it back a week or two.

After another mapping session i have another list of bits i need. Clutch is slipping badly and cant hold the boost. And the injectors are maxed so looking for some 700cc. Im keeping the figures to myself for now until its finished.
Good things are no overheating, its all holding together really well. Its looking very promising!

Its at 12psi witch is a little more than i wanted and it kicks in around 3.5k.
12 psi is good, I'm sure you'll be happy with that. My M40 kicked in about 3.5k, which was nice. Think you might make alittle more power though
Are you driving around in it at the minute? Would love to check it out.

Finally! The new clutch. Helix 5 paddle. Should hold a little more power

Also a slightly lighter single mass e28 fly.
