Sorry, proper hero Maseratis ended with the Bora. The Biturbo gen cars look like a) a huge bill waiting to happen and b) faintly Korean....they just look tacky and '90's.. If you wanted an iconic, classic yet crude whizz-whoooosh chariot, a nice 3 door Cosworth is the way to go. My god they were hairy, but they're quite simple and robust if not tweaked to 8 million bhp and butchered. Still one of my favorite cars.

I couldn't even tell you what that blue thing is, how powerful they are and what years they made them. I'm vaguely aware of them existing - says it all!

I have simple tastes...

An 80's turbo-bodied non-turbo 911 (the turbo's are still way too much ££)
Audi RS2
E34 M5 Last Edition

Integrales Evo's are kool but they melt in the rain along with all italian exotica so none of those thank you very much!
But Yank muscle cars give me wood...

'77/78 Firebird Trans-Am 400 (my fave car) (black/gold)
Boss 302 Mustang (yellow)
'70 Challenger (white)
'72 Mach 1 (yellow)
'68 Charger (black)

And then there are things like...
'32 Deuce Coupe
'32 3 window Ford A
'41 Willys
Dax Cobra

10K buys a f**k load of awesomeness, a f**k load of hassle, a f**k load of scrap, or a f**k load of wood... 8)

The Blue thing, assuming you're looking at the Porsche 968 Sport / CS, was performance car of the year and an epic drive. I've driven one, along with a 944 Turbo and they are awesome.

No, I meant the Maserati Giblet Bi-Flatulence.

Front engined Porkers? Sorry, only the woofle of a 928S2 would put a Stuttgart crest in the garage.
The 968 was a flop when new because it was an ugly bastard and the £3000 cheaper M3 3.0 Coupe would run rings around it. The original 944 in Guards red was a bit of a looker though and the Turbos are fast. Strangely bland though.

The 968 to have would be the CS I'd imagine.

We'll have to agree to disagree with everything you've said and agree you're so very wrong.

Folks use to have the JPS capri. I think it was a 3.0 not sure if it was a V6.

Do people still see Porkers as the "mid life crisis" car?

No. I see the right* porker as a serious performance car that takes skill to drive fast.
