Later cat ready one's are 211hp with around 230ftlb, early higher comp ones are 218hp.

I thought the earlyer engines were less with the lower comp and b34 head?

If its got cat its about 190 bhp / no cat about 211 bhp
E28 m30 doesn't fit into e30 without e34 sump and pickup :D

E28/E24/E23 M30B34 218 hp@5200 rpm and 229ft.lb torque @4000 rpm - no cat in these.
E34/late E24/E32 M30B35 211 P.S @ 5700 rpm which and 225 ft.lb @4000
- these engine have a catalyitic convertor.

North american M30B34 had a cat and these produced 184 hp @5400 rpm and 213 ft.lb @4000 rpm.
