I have an M52 323i donk from a 99, 323i that has a split from the front of the head to the rear (under the inlet)

is it scrap ?

the car in question is superb, a lovely 1999 323i individual touring/shooting brake with every option known to man.. I might give the chap a decent offer after i give him the bad news....
