Hi guys.

I have got a backbox for my car (318) and i have come to fit it.

I cut part of the pipe off the old backbox and welded it to the new, so i have the same length and shape - i did this as i then thought it would be a straight swap haha..

so i held it to the car and fitted it to the centre section and everythings perfect except the straps to mount the actuall box, i have made them smaller but it wont hold it in the correct position - just wondering if there is a scorpion mount specific? i have googled it and found nothing up to now.

Thanks
Josh

use another strap and weld it to the one that is round the box ?

or summit like that but it needs the part the for the rubber hanger to wrap round so you get no vibration. i take it you trimmed the valance and never butchered it like some i've seen. 8O

Is it possible to adapt a standard wrap-round strap thingy?
That way you will get the difficult bit that hangs from the rubber readymade..

have a look at the pic Dan put up on my thread here Josh. Maybe an idea?

I had the same problem mounting my M3 scorpion system to a 4 pot ready turd.
