Sub sizes

I heard the height from the boot floor to the hood compartment on a cab is 280mm.

This means most 10" subs just about wont fit.

Is an 8" sub sufficient for a cab?

You can build a box so that the sub faces up if you want.

A 10" sub will fit but will be tight, personally 8" is too small

Im fitting a 12" in mine, the majority of it will be under the hood compartment, and then it will stick out a little and have a step up to accomodate the full size of the sub.

I measured 11 inches in my old cab. I'm sure you could fit two or three 10's in there, IF you build the box right.

I'm inclined to go with a design similar to below now, at least that way you won't have as much issues with sub size
