Jim,

The show is called 'The German Show', basically we hire the whole of Beaulieu out and any german marque is welcome to come and show.

The zone members provide the marshalling, last year was our first year and on the Sunday we had 1400 people turn up. It really was a good day and with lessons learned we hope it will be even better this year.

The profits, after cost, go in the main to The Rowans Hospice, a local hospice which looked after one of the old skool zoners in his final day.

Wow, is this something organised by the zone? Or something the zone has become apart of? Its a bit of a distance, but I shall be heading down to this one too. Gonna try to get to as many shows and meets this year as possible to interact a little more and get to know some zoners.


I assume you are interested in other clubs coming along too... My old man is into the vw beetle & camper scene, but not sure if he is any clubs or anything, but the words will be passed and i'm pretty sure he will come down too, most likely in his camper.


Is there on site camping or is it hotel and private camping only? Sorry for the questions, but I couldn't really find much info on it so might help a few more zoners to see some basic questions answered to.

It is run by the Zone solely, all clubs and individuals are welcome and there is onsite (night before only) camping available from 1600.

ha ha Gryff yep yep better hide the cones as me and shell will go on the hunt again but hopefully she wont end up with a bruised head this time or the stings on her feet from rolling down the hill through the stinging nettles........ was a fun weekend though lol.......... and dont forget the classic "he's names Billy and I love him" lol..........x x x x
