e36 m3 evos use a standard bush which is almost solid as such much beefyer than stock. So less flex i guess

But it's not eccentric. The E30 M3 one is.

True but if you don't want that and fancy a stronger bush than stock and don't want to have to get the tracking re done.............

I'm in the eccentric camp but just thought i'd say seeing as the eccentric and concentric M bushes are so cheap from BMW now

The 3.0 e36 M3 used the same eccentric bush as the later E30 M3's. When the evo came out with the revised steering BMW switched to an almost solid concentric bush instead

chrisr29 wrote:Hi, I owned that car about 7 years ago. Bought it from Chichester car auctions for £450.00 with a years ticket. Sold it a year later via the same place with an expired MOT for the same price.

Some lad bought it, tried to sell it on the road side but it got vandalised (paint stripper) and it ended up back in Chichester auctions. Lost track of it then spotted it on ebay a year or so later after having had some resto work.

It was originaly converted by a BMW specialist in Bogner Regis from a kit of parts supplied by Hartge.

Was a great car, loved it, if I'd had the space at the time I'd have kept it. Was on 170 and something thousand miles at the time and ran great, sounded awesome.

Anyway, glad to see she's still doing the rounds and good luck the the resto.
Chris,

I saw it parked up in the 'auction' hall, was tempted but did not go for it.

Steve, I have some photos somewhere, will try and look them out.

Steve, could you please put some bin bags over Falksters wheels. To see a brilliant red M3 compromised in such a heinous fashion nearly puts me off my Haagen Daaz :)

I would also be interested. I have some that were made on my car now, but they are too wide and it has always bothered me.

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.
