alright mate, I think halfords sell hi temp red paint, caliper paint would do the same job.

I can polish up the lines on the top for a small amount

Is that Karan's old 318iS? if so then i had the rocker cover powder coated for him in red.

I had mine done in silver at the same time...
1 & 2 bed flats in Bournemouth areas, with parking

how much is it generally to get something like that powder coated??

From memory it was about Ԛ£25, grit blasted and then powder coated. I've got a spare rocker cover if you need one...

What company did that for you mate that price sounds really reasonable would be worth getting my inlet manifold and rocker cover done!!

Would still like the info on where to get parts powder coated...My M3 cam cover needs doing...

15 quid aint that steep

i posted a small mk2 brake servo weight 1.8 kilos that cost 11 quid

its quite heavny, needs protection to stop paint getting chipped and needs to be packagaed

royal mail pricess are silly im afraid dude!

Ummm, that red cover looks 100% like the one i did for Karan... i know his car got sold onto a chap called lee who wrote it off in no time at all, can't remember who had the engine from it...

If anyone is interested, i do not recommend the company who did the powder coating on my rocker cover, the job is great, but they took 7 weeks! had every excuse in the book for not having it done, what they didn't know is that i knew someone who worked there i knew the truth behind there lousy company... i was in no hurry anyway as luckily i had a spare cover.

wasn't Karans the one in the picture at the top of the thread? cause the raised lines are polished on that!!

iv got a spare Is Manifold you can have

youl need to sort the throttle body studs out, but its already been attacked with various grits just to clean it up so will be less work for you

demlotcrew sold me one for 40 quid the other week, you can have this for 25 + p'n'p if ur interested

Ben if you know Danny's scrapyard in ruabon he has a black is in his other compound I believe the engine is still in there
