Such a clean looking engine bay, you need a new rad though imo becuase its letting it down! An airbox would look pretty good too though

A very nice car indeed :D

How much was the strut brace and does it fit the turrets snugly? Cant understand why they didnt bend it properly though

I saw something on the net about 3-in-1 oil for cleaning up alloy and they were using a rad as a demo, came up mint!

Traffic film remover and a power washer do the business. TFR isn't very kind to black plastics and can fade them a bit. I'm assuming you're looking at doing this when the donk is out?

These are unflattering photos to the rad really. She's quite clean... and I would take the sticker off but don't have a suitable solvent to remove the glue afterwards.

The washer bottle sticks out like a sore thumb though!! It doesn't even open properly!

I'm going to get my brother to fabricate something to separate the air filter off when he's less busy.

This has already been thrashed out! I'd also have to get 16" rims, bigger brakes too. I like the idea of bigger brakes but I love smaller rims (catch 22). My council grill suits my smoked Hellas (also, against the rules). And the Hellas can't go; I bought them before I owned my first E30!

Hence I'm resigned to my 'partially council' status. I'd love to be a proper member but will have to accept being a lone bandit.

There's hope for the Beaver though in the 'less-council' stakes. I want her to be ultra-sleeper... Although she will be 16v.

As for the snugness, mega snug. So much so, I imagine I may need to watch that area for loss of paint. I paid £200 to have the front fabricated and rear welded.

And yep... the bends look sh*te. But when I have it painted lime green, no one will want to look at it anyway :D

Cannot comment. I simply asked for strut braces. They test fitted a 'hallowed' old Sparco one, then set about re-fabricating it. Ask Penton!

Mine was cleaned and battery tray welded in (as she had a hole the size of a dinner plate and had been leaking like a b*stard into the footwell), then resprayed.

It's amazing that the car was so clean underneath yet had a battery tray from hell

As soon as the rear arches are done, she will be luuuurvely

The plastic section behind the strut brace can be found on any 4 pot injection car. The plastic cover in the battery tray location is from a M3.

You need stiffer springs.. My chin was lower and didn't get battered like that. Love it though!

Would rock something similar for a daily

The battery will be in the way on all 4 pots other than M3s for that cover to fit i would've thought.
