Hi I am thinking To lower my cab a bit and get some alpinas 17 what would be a good choice of lowering and still be able to go over speed humps ? :D

personaly i like the alpina's. i have just put them on my cabby and ordered 60/40 lowering springs

For looks prob 80mm front and 60mm rear but for SUMP saving driving 40mm all round

Thanks for all the replays anyone have some pictures of the 60/40? i was thinking of 40/40 with orginal m tech springs could i use them on standart shocks ? or should i just buy a whole set of a good make like bilsten shocks and springs or just the m tech springs? and for the rest of the cash get an m tech 2 steering wheel :D winkeye

30 - 40mm drop is ideal for ride and handeling. My old cab was on a 60/40 drop and when I was running 17" BK's I cracked the sump in an epic fashion. I personally would go to 16"s as I find from experience that they just make the car feel right, with the 17"'s it just didn't feel like an e30.

I'd leave the bbs on there over bk's any day. 60/40 or 60/60

40 to 30 F and 30 to 15R for handling, though imo anything over 40mm on a road car just looks council.
