i have an M50B25 (no thermostat) and the gauge sits 1/4 today it went upto 1/2 for the first time in traffic
this may be to it reaching its actuly temp
wondering what yours sit at

normally on 1/2 if a fraction under, gets about a needle width over 1/2 and the leccy fan kicks in.

right thats exactly what mine did didnt go more than a needles width over which makes me think thats its running temp
and without the thermostat it isnt reaching that, today was the first time of lost of revving in traffic and when i did the conversion it was the sever cold

A good m20 should never move past half way once up to temp.

Arrons just done an m50 conversion sweep, and mine sits about halfway
A 2 door e30 with 8 cylinders, what could be better
