Hi All
I'm doing up my E30 Cabo at the mo and I'm thinking of replacing the carpet. Tried to google "automobile carpets" but nothing really seems to come up
Just wondered if anyone has done this or could recommend a company that supplies. I'm in Edinburgh , location isnt that important as I could get it posted.
Any snippets of wisdom for removing and replacing would be a bonus too
Thanks in Advance

just looked on the website for GSF, they sell a carpet set for the E30 for Ԛ£30 plus VAT. Unfortunately they do not list one for the cab, just the saloon and touring.
Has anyone any experience of the quality of these carpets as it doesn't seem a bad price for a new carpet. Is the soundproofing there?

Was thinking of doing the same gcorky, but I'm spending a bit on re-leathering so didnt want to scrimp on the carpet. I was considering getting normal carpet and spliting the sound proofing of the existing carpet and transferring it over...like I said ..just thinking !!

I bought some from an upholstere who advertised in Practical Classics magazine.
Just ring up an upholsterer / trimmer and ask for a price on buying carpet, alternatively I have some spare!

A friend who is a manager at a local BMW dealer part dept, recenlty e-bayed a brand new E30 convertible carpet which he'd had hanging around his stores for about 10 years! It went for a bargain Ԛ£28

the carpet in the E30's is that stuck down to the floor or just over years where people have been sitting it just sticks to the floor?
