fading trim issues

although a bottle of baby oil in the car does have its benifits (only joking) what can i do to restore the trim without commonly used products?


or better yet, which product is the best?

its afake result and doesnt last

ive found this to be really really good

non greasy and lasts ages also gives new look rather than too shiny

I've seen this stuff used and it looks awesome, better than new!

I'm slowly going round my car and making all those bits that should be black..erm..black again. Halfords plastic bumper spray does the job a treat. I've tried everything to make my bumpers black and nothing has worked apart from this. 2 coats was all it took.

no the rubber seals round at bottom of door windows and round rubber of rear quarter glass

The only thing to make your rubber look like new is thinners.
Obviously dont rub it on your paintwork though.

bear in mind it works by 'melting' a layer off the top, but it will make it look brand new.

i was told to use a heat gun to bring back the colour?

Heat gun works the same as thinners, though less harmful. Used to do it on m,y jeeps, wheel flares. Brings them back nicely!!
