Hi does anyone know of a 2door e30 with an s50 conversion for sale as a complete car? Doesn't have to be a track day warrior on coilovers just a fairly straight motor with the engine in an running an driving? What sort of money would they go for?

Thanks for any input

I would'nt call it nothing, it's nearly twice what most
would be running now, given the age, loss of Hp. Anything more would call for some structural strengthening, surely.

I doubt it gets a good hiding tho. E30 Cabs shake even with an M40 in.

It is a silly idea.

I agree no point in a s50 cab. Also I've never met an m3 convertable owner who isn't a complete tool - as an example in the last 3 times I've visited the ring I've seen one get stacked only to hear the wide boy driver giving it the large back in the paddock.

I never seen the point of an m3 cab but I guess you have to be 'that way inclined'.

Alas, most M3 owners are "tools" , roofless or not 8O

Totally agree. The advantage of the M3 is all the little changes to the body and running gear to make them handle better.

WTF is the point in cutting the roof off? :?

The weight of these anchors does reduce the scuttle vibration slightly :D

To court the pink pound which, interestingly, is plentiful.

It would be fun to see a Cabrio compete in a world class race series though!

Race round the drive through? First to order big mac and fries wins, extra points for bagging a hoe en route, maximum points for 'turning heads' with banging tunzs

To the op, i saw a s50 e30 rally car go on ebay this week for 4200! But i think you would have to pay upwards of 6k for a reasonable one.
