I'm planning on getting my old cash cow finished for Gaydon this year. Never been before but wondered whats the deal with the zone>? Is there a stand etc and can you camp there plus do you have to book it?

13/14th August this year I believe....

You can only go if you live in Surrey and have a 325i.

Haha!

I'd like to know the deal here too.

That's right,it's the Motor Heritage place that BL set up some years back.

It's a yearly event organised by the BMW Car Club.

well as its been started so i may as well pitch in and help out

i will on behalf of the car club be liaising with forums who want to attend Gaydon. what i need is senior member from the e30 zone team to give this the go ahead for an OFFICIAL zone presence/display.

so this thread may be locked (if the team wants to until the zone team confirms their position) i have spoken to the zone team about this and either this thread or a new one will be up in the coming days

Good to get the topic rolling, Kos. I think this could shape up to be a significant event in the calendar and have no doubt that the E30 will be well represented.
I'm sure that the E30Zone team will make a decision on how we may wish to be involved as one of many forums, so let's hold our breaths and wait for that rather than speculate.

At the moment we are looking at a discussion purely on individuals turning up for a great day so please treat it as such.
