hey guys and girls

Just wondering can i fit a 325 radiator with expansion tank to a car that didnt have an expansion tank (316)? I think u can but someone has put abit of doubt in my mind over the pumps being different for the preasurised system.

Ive got a later type 325 radiator and expansion tank to go onto my 316 project car. Its time to fit it to the car and i cant see how its going to fit. the old 316 one pushed into 2 brackets on the car at the bottom with a nut and bolt at the top. Does the 325 one fit the same or different, i think im missing some of the brackets on the 325 radiator. Can anyone show me a pic of how it all sits in the car?

Cheers
Si

The top is ineffect the expansion tank.

Wayne30 has a nearly new m10 rad.

M50's have expansion tanks at the side! HUDGE radiators though! never neeed a fan lol

Are you tryung to rig the expansion tank on the intake (late 325i-good cooler area of engine) or exhaust (early 325i-not so good hotter area of engine bay) ?
