Nope, they just cut the C-pillar from the body and moved it forward. Here some pics of the building process:

Im yet to see one that looks anything other than toilet. Although i appreciate all the hard work involved. Just dont get it.... same as Baurs.

Baurs have their place I think, as a more versatile cab. The targa and canvas can be used independantly, and the roll bar makes it stiffer, so no scuttle shake. The targa can also be tilted like the standard sun roof too.

Pick-ups are just different. Done right, they can look very good, and are in some ways more useful than the Touring.

I know both are a bit marmite, but although I hate marmite, I do like Baurs and pickups.

Do you have Vegemite? Basically a yeast spread Don't know if you'd have either in the Netherlands.

the green one what was on ebay. is up 4 sale again as the guy who won it didnt turn up to collect. he lives near me he sent hours doin it. not a bad job.

I would have thought a 2 door a better start as a four door would leave no room to slide your seat back as the rear panel would be too close to the front window as the doors are shorter, if a four door is a must then a touring would be very easy as no rear seat panel.

Thats the first E30 pick i've seen that looks ok. If it didn't have that paint work, exhaust and wheels....
