I have spotted on a number of occasions that one of my rear, keep-fit windows on my touring has been lowered by about 10mm.

This is something it does all by itself.

Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a cure?

TIA

Fi :D

It happens on my wifes mazda 2 and her Almera before that. She had the idea of adjusting the winder handles so that they were fully downwards when the window is fully up. Hopefully gravity acting on the handle will stop the window coming down as oppose to helping the window come down by it being in the 10 o'clock position for example.
I haven't tried it yet but it might work.

Sorry for the long winded answer

Check carefully that the winder handle clears the folded rear seat,I had to replace a snapped handle on the current touring for just this reason!

BTW,both of my rear windows are stiff to wind down,I assume a lack of lubrication is the cause, but I never sit in the back anyway....

That's good to know, Marty. I was beginning to think that I had the only Touring afflicted with this particular problem!

similar story on both sides here, i always assumed it was me knocking the handles getting stuff in and out the back.
