Why don't you put an advert in the For sale section and maybe on Pistonheads with a detailed description of the car.

the black one is f**ked, there isn't a man alive who's capable of dressing himself that would give you decent money, weigh it in and use the cash to start the rapide decline in value of the red one.

He's right - any 'good' left in that black one is masked by the bad and the ugliness of what's on the surface.bigdoe wrote:the black one is f**ked, there isn't a man alive who's capable of dressing himself that would give you decent money, weigh it in and use the cash to start the rapide decline in value of the red one.
Chuck that black turd away and just drive the red one. Stop modifying it to make it worse.

Financially yes, but aesthetically it could certainly decline a lot.datourer wrote:It can't decline much, it only cost 70 quidbigdoe wrote: weigh it in and use the cash to start the rapide decline in value of the red one.

Im sorry im sorry. But seriously what the F.
You have picked up a nice E30 for under a tone.... And you want to paint it orange, then respray it red... when all it needs is some hard work with elbow grease.
That exhaust is terrible im not going to lie.
just restore it to original or put TASTEFUL mods if you want to modify it for the best results.
Iv'e seen your black one, just don't do the same with this.
I brought a e30 as my first car rather than a corsa/clio/saxo because i didnt want the stigma they held( you know what i mean)
Just don't leen towards that crowd
My £2

Good stuff Stevie.
The pictures on the first page arent there any more so I cant remember what this looked like...
With regards to the colour, have you tried to give it a very good polish? Might even be worth contacting a good mobile valeter who does it every day to see if they can polish it up... They can be expensive for what it is, but they can come out looking extremely well... I'm not talking about using some t cut and hoping for the best... Use a mop/buffer and use a proper cutting compound. There was a thread on here earlier tonight by Kemix who has just done his and it looks mint...
Did you sell the black one or is it still knocking about?
I was near your end today, I seen the sign for Orpington and though of you oddly enough.
