Hi,
I'm after some leather seats and does anyone know if seats from other makes of BMW will be a straight swap. I Don't really fancy drilling new holes.

Seats from an E30 will fit.

E36 seats will fit, but you need to manufacture some spreadder plates, or drill new holes and install some crush tubing as they fall on angled parts of the under body.

Not tried any others so far.

For rear seats I doubt anything other than E30 ones will fit.. For fronts people have fitted E28, E36 and E46 seats.

If you don't fancy drilling etc then get yourself a set of E30 leathers, BBB have some really nice heated black sports seats inc rear headrests from a tourer listed on ebay... £499 though

I used the leather seats out of wrecked 2007 3 series. I made brackets out of 1/4 inch galvinised steel plate. They worked out great. I paid $500 Australian for the pair.
