Engine speed at 70Mph

What size diff do i need to lower the engine speed to 3000/3200rpm at 80mph ?

I ask because first gear in my 325i is usless.

my 320i touring with a 4.10 diff does 4krpm at 80 so probably a 3.64 would drop it 1k??

Mine is doing 75mph at exactly 2000rpm!!!

45 @ 1000
60 @ 1500
75 @ 2000
90 @ 2500

I'm kinda cheating though as I'm cruising around in a 525e...

i think mine does just a tad over 80Mph (82/3) @ 3500rpm
