Get it sorted then sell the plate to counter balance the cost of repair.

Why is it too good to break? Needs a ton of welding, is pink and has the wrong engine in it?

Frag it.

1 17" wheels on E30's are total sh1te
2 who gives a sh1t what wheels are on it when it needs a ton of work before it can turn a wheel
3 weld it up and get the plate off and sell it mot'd for the best money

Oh and ffs dont waist money on wack wheels or triangle bonnet vents winkeye

I'm really not a fan of private plates, but that one has certainly got some value and it would be daft to frag the car for a couple of hundred quid (it's only a 1.8) and effectively give the plate back to the DVLA gratis, when you could fix the car, get it T+T'd, and then sell the plate to cover the cost of repairs.

The financial value of a taxed and tested cabby is more than a broken 1.8 in bits.

It think what he is trying to say, fit some 17s and the mots tester will be so shocked he will forget to fail the car on rust.

Bung it through an MOT, sell the plate and then frag the turd. You might be lucky and get your money back :)

The plate is worth sod all tbh, it's worth no more than £200 inc the transfer fee if that.

Now take into account getting it through the MOT with little or no work (here's hoping 8O ), taxing it at £112.75 and then insuring it, it's going to be costly to punt the plate along.

I'd break it good style and make the most of it.

Break it fella. Do what you have to do to sell the plate. You'll get good money on it, then get the rest on Ebay and on here.

Personally I like 14" bbs's... But thats me. I would still have 15" though. How much you want for the interior? winkeye

The 14"'s go for loads on Ebay these days too.

It depends on your location, access to a good fabricator and welder and commitment towards the car.
Selling the plate to cover some costs is a good idea but remember these are times where money is tight.

I'm not sure that the plate would recoup what i'd cost to get a legal ticket on it. Frag it.
