whats the std inlet / exhaust vale sizes for a 320i head type 731
and a 325i head type 885 ?
whats the biggest valves u can get machined into a 731 type head ??

I cant remember the exact sizes but 325i are 2mm bigger i think, I'm pretty sure you can get 325i inlets cut into a 320i head...

don't know the sizes of the valves either but think the 325 are 2mm bigger. You can get the 731 head machined to accept the 235 valves.
If you fancy saving yourself some grief, I know Cabrio327i - Dave - had a 731 head he was having machined before he sold his cab, as far as I know he still has the head. Think it just needed the valve seats cuttin in and then a skim. But the main machining part has been done.
