Remember ONE entry to all and BLACK AND WHITE only...
For those that have two entries only the first one will be accepted unless you delete it.
Good luck

35 pics or so now, but nothing new for a few days, when can we start voting?

Be kind Suchy.
He might not have read the whole thread and just the first post.
Although not sure if that says it. But BEMER_LAND, you'll have to pick your favourite and delete the other one else the mod running this will remove the second picture and take the first one as your entry.
I like the second one though.

The competition has only been going for a week guys and as its a monthly comp it really hasnt been running long enough to let the voting begin.
One more week to get your entries in and then there will be a week of voting.
Have to say we are very pleased with the level of participation
Remember the winner goes into the draw for E30s of the season, where there will be a bigger better prize so get your entries in.
Also PM me if you have any suggestions for up coming E30s of the Month photo competitions

Do the runners up not get entered into the prize draw?

What do you think jim?
Should we allow runner ups a second chance?
I'm asking honestly, imagine you won the monthly comp and a runner up wins, I honestly didn't think this far ahead.

I think to make it more of a 'Draw' you need a few more entries from each one to make it a bit more of a lottery.
If you dont and you only take the winner from each, its only 3 to select from, which may come across as a bit selective when drawing the winner. Personally I would have 3 top entries from each competition. Giving you 9 people to pick from. But I suppose if I was a winner of that month I would be a bit gutted if someone else won the prize draw.
At the same time, it gives more incentive for people to try and enter the monthly as some people know they wont win, but they still have the chance of the quarterly.
That make some sense? If someone disagrees then please jump in as i'm just going from my own opinion.

unless you have every 6months just of winners?? Annually would be more of a selection but then people would get bored and not bother after a few months I fear?
I do think it should only be winners put forward for a main draw though, unless you have a lesser draw made up also of 2nd and 3rd placed pics??

With regards to 2nd & 3rd place draws. That would be interesting Suchy, but the only problem would be 'affording' all of the prices as obviously they would be lesser of value but that means 2nd would be of more value to 3rd which would still incure a cost to the zone.

Yeah I agree- was only offering an idea. I still think it should only be winners put forward though, even if it was only three images. Could do it tri-anually and have four images each time??
What do I care any way, I've lost my touch!! Must get enthused and get my car back on the road and go shoot some awesome stuff that stands a chance of winning!!!
E30QcJim should win this months so far imo as it's by far the best- unless someone else submits something equally kick-arse kool

Just out of curiosity m_jermyn, the quarter draw, is that picked at random or winning pictures against each other for a vote?
