Ive been reading a few different threads about upgrading the m42 injectors but cant figure out which to put in. Most of the threads i can find are american and i need something from the uk. Has anyone done this or can anyone help, cheers.

i have a set of injectors from a 318is they are different to 318i m40 so specific to your needs.

wasn't there a link to having the ultrasonically cleaned on here and lots of zoners had theres done?

the idea being you buy my injectors and send them away and still be able to use your car until the cleaned ones are returned then sell your old ones :) .

removed from my car..

The early m42 injectors only have one hole. The later ones have four holes. Mustang injectors give better power but i aint going to be able to get hold of any over here i dont think. I want bigger ones, not just fresh m42 ones cheers bud

You can get 150 bhp with standard injectors, what power output are you aiming for?

get an m20 flywheel and have it lightened to 6.7kg

it's spesh .

my 152bhp had 1.7 secs over the 1/4 mile on another 152 bhp chipped 'is' @ santa pod this year so i will most defiantly be fitting it to the new 24v donk along with another chipped ecu.

makes sense, you get no more bhp but a more user friendly engine 8)
