Looking really really good.
I am restoring mine at the moment currently got the centre console out and got another from a scrappy and getting it re-covered to match the original as the original was completly fcuked.
Got new door handles comming as well they will need covering.
Am saving up for a new soft top as its completly shagged.
The list is endless a really nice example of a motorsport, the hardtops look wicked ive got one tooo!!!

To answer a few questions:
Magnex back box with stainless up to the cat.
Hardtop is a BMW one with a bit of work done, was a job and a half, strip off the vinyl, flat and use filler primer ready for painting. Takes an age to do as the vinyl leaves a nasty adhesive behing and the thin layer of fibre glass is built around a honeycombed metal centre section which you don't want to expose.
Also tried to get the m badge off, won't budge at all scared of fussing up the paint.
Thanks for the comments,
Andy

Hello I'm new and this is my 1st post on here.
Never really like e30, untill about 3weeks ago. Don't know why it just happened.
I'm looking for a nice one and yours definitely is one!
I really, REALLY love white leather interiors, specially on blue cars (also fancy a e36 vert in Blue/White.
I have a couple of questions:
That leather interior, with the matching centre console. Is that covered in leather, or is platic that come in a macthing color?
Also, I read the comments about the hardtop. What exactly did you change on it, since I don't know how the original BMW one looks like (is that the same as the Zimmerman (i.e. where they OEM?)

M_Parrallel, everything white is leather, ashtrays an all, standard with the motorsport, however the lotus white was a limited option.
Hardtop is a vinyl BMW standard one stripped and painted.
Cheers for comments,
Andy

Thanks Andy. Never seen Lotus white before. Looks lush.
Ok so if I understand correctly, the stock hardtop is unpainted and from vinyl and you had it painted in the car's color, right?

Yeah I'd like one too, but such minters cost a fortune, considering their age and milage.
You can get a nice e36 something for what they ask for it.

these cars are worth more than most e36's cos they are very rare, especially in this nick, and its almost like a collectors item. those that are in top nick are hardly ever up for sale.

Andy, your motorsport look stunning. really like it with the 18" alpina's on. Are the wheels BK 171's? Are they much more expensive than the 17" alpina's? Might look at getting some for my motorsport as my M3 wheels are a nightmare they only take 9 months to start oxidising.
Dean
