If it's in good rust free condition it will be worth more as a complete car than in bits. Solid Tech 1 sports are getting rare now and command a good price.

a solid early car is worth saving. it's probably less hassle to get it taxed and moted than break it assuming theres nothing major wrong with it.

+1^, if you have time to strip it to pieces, advertise, post ect then you have time to save it imo. It will be worth more money with fresh mot and tax ect. The pre-facelift cars in good condition need to be saved as there aint many left out there. You could have a gem sat in your garage mate

What is actually wrong with the car then?
Be a shame to break something that doesn't need a love affair with a mig welder to scrape an MOT

in my eyes nothing wrong with a patch here and there ! all motors come to it some day ! ok some quicker than others but ha i had my last e30 done it need it in the rear boot pockets and inner wing in 2 places
i reckon you should keep it for a little while then fix her up and make it a keeper

I know the car. I saw it in a car auction in Leeds about 10 years ago. It's not a genuine Sport - they were never made in red.
