Might be worth looking a set of separate bells and disks and get the off set for the disk you need.Would rather have the spacer between the dsic and wheel than hub and disc.

To be fair.. They are probably a bit excessive, but why not.. :P

294's for the rear as well.. Only a single pot sliding caliper though.
Not really that excessive Dan.

You'll definately notice the difference between the AP/CSL setup and the previous setup you were using.
I most certainly did when I upgraded from the E38 Brembo/302mm setup to the current 6 pot/335mm's

294's on the rear is a nice touch too.

Seperate bell and rotor like I was running with the smaller disc is an option still, but it would be nice to have an OEM solution, plus the CSL disc is a lovely design. Am wondering if the rose joint tie rod would allow me to get away with not using a spacer behind the disc, or at worst use a very thin one..

The discs need some space to expand with heat, and also heat to the ball joint itself under heavy or constant breaking. Just to close for my liking. Belive me I would love to see these mounted :)

I'd be looking for 3mm minimum clearance between the TRE and disk.
Heat is normally slightly less of an issue with larger disks on a road based car, unless there being hammered for extended periods on track.

The car will be being hammered on track.. I shall be making sure there is plenty of room between the disc and TRE, need to get some rose jointed ends in my hands to see what I'm gonna be dealing with.. from what I've seen the rose ends are 28mm dia and 10mm deep, the knuckle as per my pic is 32.5mm, but obviously the angle of them is detrimental to clearance as they point towards. If I get time I shall model it up.
