Have tried to get the cable out of my 318is but its completley seized into the pipe at the lever end.
I have tried wd40 and vice grips which where no use. The rubber seems to be ripping at the end of yhe pipe.
Any handy ways of doing this?

Try a bit of heat,a heat gun is safest, bearing in mind the location of the fuel tank!

I've used a dremel to slit the metal pipe length wise to break the bond. Could give that a try too.

Don't cut the end off, you need it to stay that length. Just slit it like I mentioned and It should give you the slack to yank the cable out. Use lots of grease when installing new ones.
