Just thought I would share a bit of an up date with you all. I have had my new e30 a month now and after some great advice from the zone I have done the below.

Sprayed the front valance, bottom section of rear bumper and bottoms of both sides of the car.
Fixed the fogs
Fixed the fuel guage (although it’s not fun to watch the speed it goes down :D )

Added 15”a BBS
Bilstein B4 Shocks and Eibach springs (really transformed the way the car handles but still a great ride, sits a lot niceer also)
Tech 1 steering wheel
German style plates
New front discs and pads

Below are a few before and how she looks now.

Hope you all approve, can’t wait for some dry roads so I can enjoy it :D . Thinks it’s been the worst possible weather since the purchase.

Thanks Guys :D

She does have a little bit of surface rust on the rear arches and a few dings but not to bad overall for a 22 year old motor.

One pic of the interior.

Thanks for the tip off fella, got the orginal plates in the boot just incase.

I went for the eibach pro kit (35mm rear and 40mm front) with B4 shocks in the end from the advice i picked up on hear. Very happy with the setup now. :D

Gorgeous. I agree with all of the above...I hope you look after this old girl for a long time!

Can I ask how much she set you back in both purchase and parts?

Well my whole plan was to get a nice (weekend) motor for 2k budget . Had Cosworths and other BMW's in the past but never an e30.

It had to be the 2.5 manual and 2 door, must say they are few and far between in standard form.

The car only has two previous owners, with a full SH and 109K and a lot of recent new parts and money spent by the previous owners and had 12 month MOT.

Total including the purchase and the parts has just overshoot my budget £2225 is the total spend to date. Overall I think I have a hell of car for just over 2K. :D

To be honest, this is one of the best looking cars ive seen on the Zone, a show-winner in my opinion. Keep it as it is my friend.

If you stick a bodykit on this one it'd be like pouring ketchup on a sirloin steak.

Well the gauge used to be all over the shop, it was the second sender unit that needed replacement.

Thanks
Only thing I have done since the bits above is put an Alpine head unit and Alpine front speakers.

Next bits I would like to do would be possible have a e36 steering rack and short shift put on the motor. Does any one know of anyone local/Leicestershire that could do the above and how much I should look to pay?

Not many of these left in this condition. Get on the rust hunt and take all the carpet and trim out to tackle any corrosion.
