Has anyone retrofitted a third brake light on their car?I have one on my Tech II that's neither very attractive, nor visible from behind, and I'm looking for some pics of yours please.

Are you speaking of the 3rd stop light? The standard one? Not good?

My brake light is positioned so low on the parcel shelf, that the car behind me is barely able to see it.What I was looking for was a brake light that sits higher, or could be mounted on the spoiler.

you can buy a rear spoiler with a brake light in.

Wish I could, but all cars in the states made after 1985 are required to have a center mounted brake light.

Looks like the real thing, but wouldn't want to give up my original for a replica.
The high mounted brake light sounds interesting though.

I just solved my brake light problem by picking up a M3 3rd brake light from the S14 forum. Those lights mounts high on the rear window, and is possibly the one you have.
Thanks to all who responded to my thread.

This is the brake light used on the e30 M3,made by Hella, and mounted on the rear edge of the ceiling.

That part I haven't figured out yet,I don't think drilling is a option.I'll have to ask one of the M3 guys.
