how do i put a 3.5 in to a 320i touring

hiya i have a 1991 bmw 320i touring and really wanna know before i start pulling things apart how easy is it to put a 3.5 from a 90 5 series in to my touring. is it a straight swap or will i have to change my loom/gearbox/ecu/exhaust/ or what else.?
