finally got round to takin my speedo cluster out to see why my temperature and fuel needle are playing about
took out the speedo, took off the green and white plugs took out these two little black wires
had a look, the little nut that was suppose to be by the fuel needle wasnt there, the ones i was suppose to tighten, the temp needle had the little nut so i took of the little nut of the temp needle and put it on the fuel needle
put the green and white plugs back one, and started the car, the fuel needle seemed to be ok now
so now i took off the nut of the fuel and put it on the temp and tightened it, but now the temp needle doesnt move at all, first it u use go from hot to cold to hot and all sorts now it doesnt move at all
and i dont know remember where i took those two little black wires from either
does the temperature needle have something to do with those two little black wires
omg this is getting long
but can anyone tell me where those two little black wires go please
all feedback shall be appreciated

The two little black wires could be speedo pulse outputs to the cruise control and radio. They are on little one pin connectors that go onto a block behind the speedo itself. The order isn't important, all 3 carry the same signal.

Either that or you are talking about the ABS etc. bulb holders, which push into holes in the back and shine out through the front?
The temperature guage gets it's signal from one of the two connectors on the side you describe. Reset everything, put nuts on the back of everything and good luck!

Don't recognise that one - sorry!
Black/white and grey/white don't appear in the instrument wiring diagram either.
