I've just twatted a kerb in my e36 daily, don't think it was hard enough to bend anything but its made hell of a mess of the wheel, tyres losing air. gutted, i need it to get to work and don't fancy driving in this weather with a 9x17 on one side and the standard 16 inch balloon on the other. I'm guessing you can't get spare barrels/rims for these things? anyone got a spare 9j lying around?

Nuckin Fightmare

anyone help im desperate!

buy a spare set of wheels to smoke around on at this time of year.

afaik the barrels are no longer avaliable new (and were silly money when they were ) but the wheels do come up occasionally on ebay in singles as others have done the same a you in the past.

i've got a feeling that the barrel part (by barrel i mean the entire rim, as theyre two piece wheels, the drum shaped bit which the mesh centre bolts into) is shared with other wheels sold by bmw at the same time. worth trying to find your wheel on real oem and do a cross reference on the barrel section.
cheers,

harry

Try edition 38.

You have to register to get the forsale area. Also that forum moves very fast so you can go back 10 pages of Wheels and only be a week ago.

Get a pic of the wheel up and show us how bad the damage is.... As Dips said, it might be repairable....
Only real men get it done with an M20

aw now way! life's a bitch! So are you saying that it can be repaired mate? yes it is the rear. I've just done E38 and there are a couple of sets of 328 sport RC's but they seem to be fetching strong pennies. I'd rather just have a painted 1 piece for winter use as split rim rims seem to be fairly soft! :D

By the way if you hear of anymore sunflowers let me know! staggered ones ideally

my mate just came through with a set of standard m3 alloys with eagle f1's, waiting to hear back from him but i think a couple of hundred notes is the name of the game! then im back on the queens highway terrorising all the clueless front-drivers

I'm interested in getting my style 5's pimped though dips, these m3 rims just buy me a spare few months to get them sorted! How much pocket money should i be looking at saving for a refurb? if i'm honest the centres/basketweaves are immaculate, just the rims that need a new lease of life, i'll probably have them polished if i get winter wheels
