hi there
greeting from australia. ihave discovered this site, and joined. I have just bought my first bimmer, a 1984 323i, 4 door manual. i love it. i know nothing about bimmer's so any help/advice would be appreciated.

Welcome m8, I had a 323i auto from new in 1985 through to 2001 and did 260,000+ miles in it. Great cars, real old school beemers. If it's basically sound it should go on forever with good servicing, particularly oil changes as often as possible, I'd say every 4000 miles. They are quite tuneable too although you can't do much with the K or LJetronic injection on that model.
