I've used an m42 318is box on mine, because the 4 pot box is not offset like the 6's you don't need to alter the gearbox brace!
I'm using m20 fly (with m20 fly bolts)
M20 clutch
M20 starter
With this box I can use my 320 prop aswel

Do you still have to adjust the gear lever i.e. bend or weld so it all lines up?e30-dk wrote:I've used an m42 318is box on mine, because the 4 pot box is not offset like the 6's you don't need to alter the gearbox brace!

No mate, mines running and moving now! I used m42 box, front half of 325 prop (slightly shorter than 320) minus vibration damper!, and 320 back half of prop. Works fine mate,
Used my 320 linkage bar ect which was slightly out (towards the front of car) but with the z3 shifter rotated 180degrees everything lines up fine
