Has anyone got any pictures of the DTM/ Grp A rear suspension set-up?

I`m just putting a build together for a semi spaceframed racecar and was hoping to see how BMW had done it at the back end so to speak!

Spewy, I built my own spaceframed car that uses the front and rear E30 subrames.

Image

I lowered the cars COG by raising the height of the points at which the E30 subframes locate to the spaceframe.

Details here if I can be of any help to you.

This is a really good set of pictures. I have used them for ideas/insparation throughout my build, where I have tried to replicate in part the DTM set-up. Take a look at my link in my signature. Feel free to PM me if you want to chat.

Gee-Sport in London is able to convert your rear axle to Grp-A spec with all the rod ends, bearings, adjusters etc. Even changes the angle of the trailing arm axis to avoid camber chages when trailing arm moves up and down.

Haha I assure you my car is in a lot worse a state than yours (it still looks pretty much like my avatar 12 months later).
Alas, while I think it is a reasonable amount for what you get, my pocket will barely stretch to cover the phone call let alone the suspension :D
