What top and bottom hoses are needed for M50 engine and e36 328 rad? My engine is out of a 5 series and the pipes are way off!!
Is it e36 6 cylinder hoses that I need?
Many thanx

Pretty sure I'm using E36 bottom hose, can't remember what my top hose is from, may have even been from the M40 donk that was in the touring.

Cheers for the reply, the engine is in the car now, just the wiring really left tomoro. But the hoses won't go near it. Both have kinked which I'm not happy with. Do you think an e36 top hose will work as I have e36 328 rad in place. Cheers :)

The top one is a bit of a coont and it took some massaging of mine and a bit of twisting to it sat right and didn't kink a bit.

A general scrap yard troll will turn up what you need, just buy stuff that is too long, you can always trim it to fit.

Alternatively someone who knows the answer may come along :)

I use an M20 hose chopped down for the top hose, its the one that routes over the distributor. Best fitting bottom hose ive found is from an E46 6 pot with the quick release connectors cut off

Generally, E36 hoses fit ok with a bit of trimming

Okay thanx a lot, I tried M20 hoses ealier but the one end would not go over the outlet on the rad. Although I did not try the one you just described. I will give that a go tomoro, thanx mate
