i have noticed my e30 is getting a small crack in the bodywork..
is there anything i can use to stop it from getting bigger or even how can i cover the crack thats there?

Ideally you need to find the cause of the cracking. Has the body work been filled or has fibre glass been used on that section in the past? Badly done filler often allows rust underneath which causes cracking, can happen in old paint to.
If you don't have the time/money to investigate the cause of the cracking then i'd use a colour based polish on the cracked area regularly, stopping water ingress is the most important factor in saving bodywork. The coloured element will fill and mask the crack slightly.

COLOURED POLISH IS CRAP DONT USE IT ITS ALL A BIG CON ..................................rant over

Debse30 , Scott still has a bit of P40 left over from his 'restoration ', ask him nicely and i'm sure he will try his best to sort your crack out !
