Hopefully Stu. Not sure what the wife has planned for Sunday yet.
This little chromie isn't going to know what's hit it.

At time this thread resembles a disturbing double-act of (resentful) talent and pom-pom shaking.
But there's no doubting the quality of the work from both the 'lads' on here.
Rock it.

I will take some pics of it as it's going in. I don't think it will see the stand again once I get it back. Rocker cover on, oil filter housing powersteering pump etc on, loom, clutch flywheel and then box on and in!!
Ratch thanks I think.

Agreed.
My engine has just sort of snowballed. I just wanted a 2.8 M50 to start with. Then I bough some schrick sticks. Then some S50 pistons. Then Dan did com com ratio calcs for me. Then I thought I had a M50B30 ready for pod. I didn't. So we went the hole hog. Dan stripped the lot down and started again. We put M52 head and S52 cams.
Hopefully with the better M52 management it should run better until it can be mapped.

The subliminal message, on the Cardboard box to the left of the engine, has been misspelt.

Your sooo wrong Si.
E30 weight ish, same rear axle, E36 engine bay (easy S50B32 conversion) and cheap shell you don't care about. Sounds like the perfect track slag to me.

nah go for the Z axle e36 saloon, coupe. Theres no weight over the rear end on a compact they're 9 inches to short! I don't really like compacts so ignore me!

I do like the coupe but it's all about the weight. I don't like compacts either but they make sense IMO.Simon13 wrote:nah go for the Z axle e36 saloon, coupe. Theres no weight over the rear end on a compact they're 9 inches to short! I don't really like compacts so ignore me!
