Glad to see you got one in the end Ollie :D

You should swap bootlids with Dezzy, facelifts need a spoiler, whereas chromies dont 8)

Thanks guys for all the nice comments. Believe you me though this needs more tidying than i'd hoped but that's always the way isn't it.

First thing I've done is paint up some replacement mirrors, as the old ones had been tastefully touched up with emulsion paint. 8O Oh and I got me a really nice tax disk holder off ebay.

It appealed to my taste a bit more. :P

Not getting on to well with this car though... knew I should have sticked to a chromie.

Well the satin black was to go with the shadowline, but it doesn't.

I quite like it though. :o:

That will be alpine White 2 won't it Ollie.

I do need to get rid of my spoiler. I have a bootlid with no holes (in red)

It goes without say you should have stuck with a chromie young man.

If you keep the bottle tops, you'd need to go back to black on the bumpers I think, otherwise it looks a bit under-wheeled..

I sold it to them for less as it needed a few bits doing (including MOT). I didn't have time to do a private sale (had a tenant lined up for my garage in London so had to get a shift on).

Aye, will get the thing tidyed up, but not going to spend silly sums on it, as I don't think it will stay in my ownership for too long.

Wierd to see a facelift without towing eye rot. 8O

If you don't really like it Ollie you may as well not spend anything on it - just keep it clean and keep everything working and flog it on when you can get what you want.
That is unless you're going to fit transferable bits like 15" BBS

When's your Birthday ? will a year older on the insurance put a 6 pot within reach ?

Well it's mostly going to plan, just to tidy it up, make everything work as it should, so it's just a nice little run about, until I find what I'm looking for. :D

Had a good start on it today, and am quite pleased with how it's looking. Got a few bit's still to do, which i'll mention in a bit.

Changed the door cards for Lux spec ones, oem floor mats in, replaced the mullered air vents and replaced the rubber handbrake gaitor.

Got the heated rear screen to try and sort out tomorow, it's got power to it, and there's 12v's (ish) in the lowest two bar's, but nothing above that, so guessing there's a brake somewhere.

Also got to sort the drivers seat out. Cable has snapped, and I don't even know where it supposed to go to. Will use the passenger seat as a refernce I think.

I quite like your facelift car Ollie, it could be nicer with a few choice touches?

Why not chuck some 15mm M-tech springs and bbs on it?
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

I did buy some Mtec springs for it, but they got lost in the post, so ended up getting a refund. :(

Should have some 14" BBS for it soon, which will be cool for now... to go with an IS spoiler that i've already got.

So yeh, should be an alright little car.
