Hi Zoners,
Here is a picture of my favourite wheels finally on the car. A big thanks to Rav and Dan for putting me on to the wheels and for help throughout the troubles with fitting!
I had them re-furbished back to 'pristine silver' by Pristine, very happy with the results. Ended up spacing by 8mm and will lower the front of the car a little bit more just to get rid of the nasty arch gap.
More to follow...

You're a bad man Rav. I'll see how the 60/40 KW springs go first!

I already have photos that Dan kindly sent me, and yes, I am sorely tempted but the KW springs were already on order. (I have already scouted prices for the fitting of Gaz)
Once the anti-roll bars, bushes et al have been overhauled I may take the plunge.

16 x 8 is the size Kemix. The Monos are titled with the wheel size, i.e. these are 1680s.

They cost £550 for the wheels but they came in polished silver so I paid £60 a wheel to get them re-furbished in silver-grey. Then the spacers (approx £40 an axle from H&R) and then newer and longer bolts with a set of lockers.
Not cheap from flash to bang, but they are my all time favourites!

Yeah, seems a lot, but my budget was £15k for either a standard E46 M3 or an E30 with a bike. I decided to can the bike idea and so that part of the budget is being spent on the E30...
More to come!

To be honest, there are days that I wish I bought the M3 for the speed and easier ownership. But thankfully there are more days where I am so glad that I went for the E30.

Pristine Wheels. They have a dealer type network amongst garages and take them away. They came recommended and they didn't disappoint. They are located in Bucks...

They're ET25 but with 8mm spacers, the spacers there purely to clear the struts on the inner arches. Also, if you get 57.1mm centre bore than you'll be fine, but being as these are for a Clio originally they have 60.7mm centre bores which means I had to have spigot rings made.

if your going to drop it over the rims, roll the arches. I have 17x7.5 on mine with a 40mm drop on the front and befor I rolled the top of the arches I had some rubbing on speed bumps and curbs
